An exhibition of Yoshihiro Togashi, one of the best storytellers in the world of manga, will be held! (11/18-1/14)

An exhibition will be held in November to explore the essence of Yoshihiro Togashi, creator of popular manga such as YuYu Hakusho, Level E,and Hunter x Hunter, as well as the essence of his creativity!

Yoshihiro Togashi is a manga artist who has created titles such as Yu Yu Hakusho, Level E, and Hunter × Hunter. He is considered one of the best storytellers in the Japanese manga industry for his masterful story construction and drawing skills, including the worlds he creates with so many complexly-intertwined elements, as well as truly captivating characters. One of his major works, Yu Yu Hakusho, is one of the manga titles that contributed to the huge boom in the boys’ comic industry in Japan during the ’90s.

“EXHIBITION: TOGASHI YOSHIHIRO -PUZZLE-,” which will be held in Fukuoka, is an exhibition focused on Yoshihiro Togashi, who is celebrating the 35th year of his career as a manga artist. It is a traveling exhibition, and Fukuoka will be the third venue following Tokyo and Osaka.

The exhibition will showcase over 330 items, such as manga drafts and colored illustrations drawn by Togashi. It lets you explore the essence of his uniqueness as a manga creator from multiple angles through original drawings and reference materials that you cannot normally see.
