Narita Airport, the entrance to Japan, is located about 60 km away in a straight line from Tokyo Station, so you will need to use some kind of transportation, such as trains, buses, and taxis, if you are heading toward Tokyo.

Now, let’s talk about the things you need to be careful of when using LCBs. LCBs mainly go to Tokyo Station, but some of them also go to Ginza or Shinonome after stopping at Tokyo Station, so make sure to tell the staff your destination when purchasing a ticket and when handing over your baggage to the staff before boarding a bus. Tickets can be purchased at the counter with the green “LCB” sign. As for the payment, you can rest easy because you can pay by cash as well as by various types of cashless payment methods. If you would like to go to other distant destinations other than Tokyo Station, you can purchase tickets either at the yellow ticket counter or at machines with the “NARITA AIRPORT BUSES” sign.
Next, we would like to guide you through the process from purchasing a ticket to getting to the bus stop where you board. Narita Airport has three terminals. The process up to the boarding of a bus is basically the same in any terminal, but the ticket counter, the exit that leads to the bus stop, and the bus stop number differs by terminal. We are going to explain one by one using pictures, so try to create in your mind an image of you at the airport following these steps. Note that your arrival terminal varies by the airline you are flying with, so don’t forget to check your terminal in advance.
Terminal 1 Terminal 1 is the largest terminal at Narita Airport. Its international arrival lobby is on the first floor, and the lobby is divided into two areas called North Wing and South Wing.
